God is everywhere — because He created everything and holds it all in love.
But He is also very close, in the most special ways.
1. “God is everywhere — but He’s not a thing, He’s a Person.”
God isn’t like a chair or a toy that we can point to. He is spirit — not seen with eyes, but known through love, truth, and beauty. He's present in the world, but He’s more than the world.
Try saying:
“God made everything — the sky, the mountains, the jellyfish! And even though we can't see Him, He’s here holding it all together, loving it all.”
2. “God is in your heart”
After Baptism, God comes to live in our soul in a special way. We become His child, His home. When we love Him, follow Him, and stay close through the sacraments — His presence grows even deeper in us.
Try saying:
“God made your soul to be His home. When you love Him, it's like He’s sitting right there in your heart, smiling.”
3. “God is near us in a special way in the Eucharist.”
In Catholic teaching, God is always present everywhere — but He is especially present in the Eucharist: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Jesus is truly with us at Mass and in the tabernacle.
Try saying:
“When we’re at Mass, we’re closest to Jesus in the whole world — because He’s really there in the Eucharist. That’s where Heaven touches Earth.”
